DELICIOUS PROTEIN BALLS
We are very excited to share Master Mom Krista Holmes’ scrumptious snack for the whole family! The best part is it is super easy to make and there is no cooking involved (that’s right – that’s what I said!) And they are dairy-free!
Krista says: It’s a great after school snack! Perfect for my husband’s 3pm break, and a good option instead of chips to tie you over (and the kiddos) before dinner.
1 cup oats (I use the Standard Quaker Oats 1-Minute Oats )
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/3 cup honey
1/4 chocolate chips
2 tbsp flax seeds (I used the ground Trader Joe’s Flax Seeds )
2 tbsp chia seeds (I used the ground Trader Joe’s Chia Seeds)
1 tbsp vanilla protein powder (I don’t use protein powder for anything else, so I was excited to see sample packages available for this – I use the Vega Protein Vanilla)
- Stir all items in a bowl until evenly mixed. Cover with saran wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Form chilled mixture into balls. Keep cold until serving.
